Located on 32 acres at the gateway to Douthat State Park and close to the Interstate, Alleghany Campground & Mobile Home Court is a destination for locals and visitors alike. “The Alleghany Highlands is really taking off,” said owner Jerry Johnson. “I enjoy helping local workers who stay long term and meeting people who are visiting for a night or a weekend by being part of their adventures here.”

There are also some exciting updates and new amenities on the horizon for the Campground and Mobile Home Court! Mr. Johnson is working on converting small structures along the creek for weekend stays, as well as making new tent sites. Stay tuned!
